Back in 2012, having already been an entrepreneur for nine years, I decided to launch my first podcast – the Business Creators’ Radio Show.

Podcasts were really taking off, so rather than film cumbersome solo teaching videos (“Monday Marketing Moments” and “Tuesday Tech Tips”), I decided to get in on the act and MORE THAN double my impact through conversations with other entrepreneurs.

I had no idea that this little project would become such a powerful tool for my business!

Fast forward to 2016, and I was about to see the true power of podcasting.

Out of the blue, somebody I’d never heard of, who was well-known in an industry I wanted to be involved in, scheduled a call with me out of the blue, saying they heard me on a podcast and wanted to discuss having me help move their startup into revenue.

In just two conversations, we closed a massive-to-me $30,000 deal – the biggest contract of my career up to that point!

Alas, life isn’t always smooth sailing, and I hit a rough patch.

For three long years, beginning at the end of 2016, I struggled with uncertainty.

Despite all my success, I wasn’t sure what business I really wanted to be in!

It was a tough time, and I was really trying to find my way.

But even during those hard times, my podcast was like a lifeline that got me 52 new prospects each year.

I still had something to market, to provide value to my loyal audience every week, even as I was figuring things out.

Even when things were looking pretty dark, my podcast helped me see a way forward and opened doors I didn’t even know were there.

So, it’s a funny thing that being a podcaster brought me to my calling – which turned out to be podcasting, itself!

In 2020, I created The R.E.A.C.H. System, a powerful framework for business growth for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and influencers.

The lessons I’d learned and the challenges I’d faced came together to form this awesome strategy for leveraging podcast hosting and other modalities as the entrepreneur’s key networking, client attraction, and celebrity expert branding tool!

And then… I decided to “eat my own cat food”.

I launched The BRILLIANCE+PASSION Project, a podcast where we spotlight entrepreneurs and changemakers who make the world a better place by being part of it and through their contributions to it.

It took off so fast that we ended up launching with seventy-three (that’s 73) episodes all going live on Launch Day!
